Lead replacement fuel additive for the protection from valve seat recession for older vehicles
Eurol® Petrol Lead Replacement is developed to lubricate and protect soft valve seats from wear, allowing your vehicle to run safely on modern, unleaded petrol. This product is recommended for classic and vintage cars still on the road which are running on unleaded petrol whilst having been designed to run on leaded fuel.
Eurol® Petrol Lead Replacement has been designed as a replacement for lead in petrol because of the arbitrary market requirement for environmentally friendly fuel formulations. Fuel can no longer contain lead (Tetra Ethyl Lead) in the 21st century. The biggest issue for old cars using unleaded fuel is valve seat recession since the lead in the fuel formed a protective coating on the exhaust valve.
Eurol® Petrol Lead Replacement is specifically formulated to provide a proper upper cylinder lubrication and protect soft valve seats.
Eurol® Petrol Lead Replacement is especially required when your classic car is operating under high engine speed, competitive use or high load conditions when used for many thousands of km.
250ml of Eurol® Petrol Lead Replacement is recommended for use in 25 L of petrol. Add the additive to your tank every time you fill up with regular unleaded petrol.
Do not use on vehicles (from around 2005) fitted with catalytic converters because some of the additives may adversely affect the catalyst. It is not recommended to mix this product with other additives. Refer to manufacturer's recommendations.
