Присадка Eurol EGR Cleaner для чистки клапана выхлопных газов

For cleaning the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve

Eurol® EGR Cleaner has been developed for removing excess carbon deposits from the inside of EGR valves.

EGR valves are installed in vehicles to reduce NOx emissions. Whether electronic or mechanical, EGR valves open and close to control the gas flow, dependant on e.g. throttle and engine temperature.

If the EGR valve is left open, the excess vacuum in the inlet will cause the engine to act like it wants to stall or idling roughly.

If the EGR valve is stuck in the closed position, the engine will have excessive NOx-emissions.

Furthermore, a lot of vehicles may automatically reduce power if the electronically controlled EGR-valve does not function or respond.

Eurol® EGR Cleaner can be used for cleaning your vehicle's EGR valve to smooth a rough idle or hesitant acceleration and to reduce knocking. Your vehicle will drive better after using Eurol® EGR Cleaner. Eurol® EGR Cleaner is also recommended if your vehicle is billowing smoke. Eurol® EGR Cleaner can be used without disassembly or a workshop.

The 400ml bottle of Eurol® EGR Cleaner is recommended for use every 20.000km (12.500 miles) on mildly clogged inlets. You can use it on a low mileage vehicle every year to keep it clean.

Users should consult the Material Safety Data Sheet of Eurol® EGR Cleaner for information about storage and shelf life. Please ask Eurol Research & Development if any further information is required.

Performance

  • Cleans dirty EGR valves by removing carbon deposits.
  • Reduces black exhaust smoke and hazardous nitrogen oxide (NOx)-emissions.
  • Restores optimal airflow to the combustion chamber.
  • Enhances engine performance.
  • Ensures lower fuel consumption.
  • Reduces black smoke emissions.
  • Suited for all diesel engines equipped with an EGR-system.

1. Start the engine and allow it to warm up.

2. Uncouple the flexible hose from the air intake.

3. Maintain the engine at approximately 2.000RPM.

4. Apply the spray in short pulses (max 10s) into the flexible hose.

5. Wait ±30s after each application until the engine stabilises.

6. If the engine RPM increases during application, leave the engine to run stationary instead of 2.000RPM to avoid diesel knocking.

7. Repeat step 4 and 5 until the aerosol is empty and re-attach the flexible hose.

8. Drive for approximately 5 to 10 km to remove all dissolved pollutions.

9. Leave the engine to run stationary for at least 1 minute before turning the engine off.

If the engine increases in RPM when applying the spray, leave the engine running stationary instead of the recommended 2.000 RPM
